A George IV 18 inch George Smith terrestrial globe, set in a mahogany tripod stand with a turned baluster support and slender square-section legs with the original castors. Compass dish and rose replaced. Signed within an elaborate roundel surmounted by a royal crest Geo Smith, 172 Strand.
