Handsome GEORGE III Two Pronged Silver Toasting Fork.
Unmarked . CIRCA 1800-1820.
The fork has two curved pronged tines with the initial 'W 'scratched on the reverse and has a turned wooden baluster handle. There is a green, looped grosgrain ribbon attached to the end of the handle.
Nowadays it would be fun to use for toasting marshmallows or crumpets.
