A very fine George III Silver Wine Label made in London circa 1780 by Susanna Barker.
The Wine Label is modelled in the eye shaped form, with a bright cut edge and out border pierced with ovals and foliate motifs. The face is pierced for PORT and this example is in excellent condition and is marked on the reverse with the maker's mark and sterling mark. An unusual design by this prolific Lady silversmith.
Length: 2 inches, 5 centimetres.
Width: 1.1 inches, 2.75 centimetres.
