A very fine large Georgian silver Warwick cruet made in London in 1761 by Jabez Daniell. This fine early George III cruet has a large central sugar caster and to the sides are two smaller pepper/spice casters. To the rear are two cut glass oil and vinegar bottles with detachable tops (which can be placed in the rings provided). To the front their is an impressive unengraved cartouche. The casters are wonderfully hand pierced and all the pieces are mounted with an attractive wrythen finial. The cruet is in superb condition throughout and fully hallmarked on the base of the cruet, the base of all the casters and correctly part marked on the caster lids and the handle of the cruet.A superb cruet by Jabez Daniell who only produced casters and cruets (apprenticed to Samuel Wood castermaker in 1739-first mark 1749 Carey Lane-died around 1774)
