George III Silver Teapot 1791 Henry Chawner of London.

A very fine late eighteenth century teapot made in London in 1791 by Henry Chawner. The teapot has superb crisp bright cut engraved decoration and bears the original owners script initials to both sides. The teapot which retains its original fruit wood handle and finial is in excellent condition throughout. Teapots of the eighteenth century in this sort of condition are becoming harder to find.Teapot capacity approx 1.75 Uk pints(1litre)
