A George III antique silver lidded tankard of baluster form with stepped domed hinge-cover with pierced thumb-piece and a stunning leaf-embellished double-scrolled handle of a form that is of the highest quality.
The body is plain and standing on a circular spreading foot with initials H over R * B engraved just below the hinge.This tankard is unusually heavy in excellent condition and fully marked on base and cover.A tankard of exceptional quality.
