A very good George III period oval bead edge snuffer tray made in London in 1784 by John Scofield.This lovely tray which was originally made for laying a pair of wick trimmers or candle snuffers on is perfect for use as a high class pen tray today.The tray still retains it’s attractive original owners family crest.
