A rare size antique silver skewer made in 1809 in London by Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne .The skewer (which would have been originally used for meat) would make a perfect letter opener as the size is a little smaller than usual (22.5 cms long 8.85 inches long). It still bears the original owners family crest and is in good condition (It carries the normal knife cuts of over 200 years)
