A fine quality large Georgian silver sugar/sweet basket made in London in 1794 by Henry Chawner.This lovely basket is oval in shape and stands on an oval foot with reeded borders.It has a swing handle and a gilded interior and one side bears a shield shaped cartouche (which has never been engraved).It is in excellent condition throughout.
