A fine Georgian silver sugar/cream basket of unusual size made in London in 1790 by Henry Chawner of London .The basket is of plain oval( boat shape) with a swing handle and reeded decoration. Each side bears a set of original initials indicating that this was a gift in 1790 .The initials would almost certainly be those of the giver and the receiver. The basket is of a rare smaller size than usual and it is in excellent condition.
