Extremely well forged set of 4 GEORGE III Hanoverian three pronged table forks of particularly good gauge.
Maker: John Zeigler. Edinburgh 1809.

The reverse of each stem is engraved at the top with the same coat of arms which has a corporate appearance. The remainder of the stem is stamped with hallmarks and the makers mark very carefully and attractively spread.
They would also make excellent serving forks and can be bought in pairs.
