Decorative pair of GEORGE III Old Sheffield Plate Wine Coolers.
Circa 1825.
The coolers are shaped in the campana style and are complete with detachable rims and liners.
The shape of the coolers is given further presence by the design of the flower and grape terminals on the end of the handles.
When not used for cooling wine, these coolers would make very pleasing flower vases.
