A fine George III Oval Silver Salver / tray made in London in 1792 by John Wakelin and Robert Garrard.
The salver which stands on four feet has a beautiful band of ‘bright cut’ hand engraving to the interior and to the centre is the full coat of arms of the original owner.
The salver is in excellent condition and of a good substantial size suitable for drinks or a four piece tea and coffee service.
John Wakelin and Robert Garrard were important silversmiths and supplied the King and other members of the nobility.
