George III Mahogany Reading and Writing Table, crossbanded throughout in satinwood.

The top drawer with an adjustable reading and writing flap in old baize, the concave drawer below, originally for a material sewing bag, filled in with replaced mahogany giving an extra surface when pulled out.

It stands on square tapered legs ending in satinwood spade feet.
