A rare George III period hand forged fiddle and thread pattern cutlery/flatware service for 12 people all made in 1816-19 (one piece 1824) all by the specialist flatware maker William Chawner of London.

The service comprises 12 Table spoons,12 Table forks,12 Dessert spoons,12 Dessert forks and 12 Tea spoons.Complementing the service are 12 Table knives and 12 Dessert knives which are more modern and have silver handles with stainless steel blades (Dishwasher safe)-(84 pieces total).

The service is in very fine condition and is hand threaded to both sides (unlike most fiddle thread from around 1830 onwards which tends to be die-struck). A rare and good quality 200 year old service.
