Antique Silver George III decanters in frame made in London in 1813 by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard of London. The three decanters fit perfectly into their original frame and they are in excellent condition throughout. The frame has classic regency motifs and still retains its original oak base .It is engraved with two original crests signifying that it was probably made for a wedding in 1813.It is hallmarked underneath and correctly part marked on the frame. These were often referred to as ‘Liquor Frames’ in old Georgian period inventories and the three bottles would probably have been used for Sherry ,Port and Madeira 200 years ago.The bottles are beautifully cut and would perfectly hold your favourite tipple of 2021
