George III carved giltwood mirror.
A fine George III Chippendale period carved giltwood mirror, the rectangular plate surmounted by a scrolling acanthus and double 'C' scroll carved crest, with pierced scrolling foliage and columns to the sides, a double 'C' scroll carved acanthus leaf apron below, the backboard inscribed in ink, 'May 1761'.
