George III Brass Bound Mahogany Wine Cooler or Cellaret.
Third-quarter of 18th century.
The George III mounted brass-bound mahogany wine cooler or cellaret (also known as a cellarette) is of oval form, with two brass bands and substantial-shaped oval drop ring handles, and a brass liner. The cellaret rests on a period stand which is beautifully carved and in good condition.
Dimensions: 25 inches high x 18 inches deep x 28 inches wide.
