A rare George III Antique Silver pierced Cake Basket in pristine condition.
By family repute made for the inauguration of the Tarporley Hunt Club in 1762 (England’s Oldest Hunt Club).
The engraving, of a huntsman, is unusually built into the piece, indication that the basket was a special commission.
