A George II Welsh oak side table; the three plank top with canted corners above a frieze drawer with ovolo mouldings and later knob handles; raised on ring turned legs united by stretchers and standing on the original turned feet. Retaining an excellent colour and patination. Probably from Montgomeryshire.
Circa 1740
The unusually low height of this table makes it ideal for going between a pair of armchairs.
