A very interesting George II walnut armchair with a shaped crest rail, a shaped rectangular splat and elegant arms.
The legs have leaf varved knees and Spanish feet and the stretchers are moulded.
Made of Virginian walnut with excellent figuring to the timber, it is possible that the chair is of American origin.
