A good George II silver Mote Spoon, the plain tapering handle with diamond point finial, the bowl pierced with crosslets, serifs and scrolls and chased with a shell and foliate device. Also engraved with contemporary initial 'F'.

Probably by Edward Bayley, London c1745 (Grimwade 543).
