A beautifully drawn George II carved walnut side chair; the beech frame raised on walnut cabriole legs which are carved with acanthus leaves to the knee and terminate in claw and ball feet and with cabriole legs to the rear which also terminate in claw and ball feet.
Circa 1745
The carving of this chair is particularly accomplished and this can be seen in the elegant rear cabriole legs and the bold claw and ball feet.
