A fine pair of French silver sugar casters the bodies stamped with the mark for Paris between 1768 & 1775, the lids with a bayonet fitting to the bodies, pierced and engraved, the bodies decorated with a band of husks and lappets below the lid and above panels of lattice.
The widest band is engraved with a running Vitruvius scroll, the bodies finishing with honeysuckle, leaf and bead foot.
