French Ormolu and Marble Chariot Table Clock.
Fine French Ormolu table clock mounted on a green marble base standing on outswept gilded feet with finely chased rectangular panel featuring three heavenly cherubs.
The base is mounted with a spectacular Roman chariot and driver pulled by two horses, the driver has his shield at his feet and is encouraging his team.
The dial encompasses the spokes of the wheel and has a raised enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals.
Eight day movement striking the hours and halves on a silvered bell signed Vincenti. Circa 1870.
