French Ceramic Mantel Clock with Chinese decoration standing on outswept feet with purple and turquoise glazed decoration and lions head ‘carrying’ handles surmounted by a Foo dog resting his foot on a lattice work ball.

Raised beaded decorated gilded bezel opening to the silvered dial with raised gilded Roman numerals, original ‘blued’ steel hands with decorated glazed centre.

Gilded rear door with sound fret.  Eight day movement striking the hours and halves on a silvered bell marked B.R. No.1193.  c.1880.
