A large late 19th Century English freesprung lever in a gold half hunter case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock, compensation balance with freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement.

Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands.

Substantial plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, small gold slide in the band to stop the watch by acting on the balance.  Plain gold cuvette, maker's mark "T.R" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
