The wool depicts a starboard view of a Merchant Navy Schooner within an oval ropework border as it sails into land with flags above of the red, blue and merchant fleet and the flags of the Netherlands, Russia and the United States.
There are scattered English roses in the background and the whole is surmounted with a theatrical curtain.
