A fine Regency period sofa table of unusually small proportions; the shallow top with deep leaves, veneered with finely matched and richly coloured kingwood veneers, cross-banded in rosewood and inlaid with decorative arabesque scrollwork panels; the frieze fitted with two 'concealed' drawers, similarly inlaid, and mounted on a square central column with hipped and splayed legs with brass claw castors. Circa 1820.
