A wonderful and rare pair of mid 17th century oak joint stools in unrestored condition, the single piece tops above chip carved frieze supported on on four cup and cover and cotton reel turned legs united by stretchers.

The design of these stools is synonymous with Dorset / Wiltshire designs. Both stools house marked "T.C." to undersides.
