An unusual pair of 1940s glass beaded stools or benches, the brass frames wrapped with glass beading throughout and modelled in the form of the Occhio della Providenza, the all seeing eye, an ancient symbol in antiquity. The frieze of the benches with decalcomania glass panels showing oriental characters and ornaments on a red ground, all surmounted by drop in seat, now upholstered in off white woven linen.
