A Fine Louis XV Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Parquetry Commode.

This fine commode has a Breche d’Alep marble top above two shaped drawers with the handles forming a cartouche of scrolling gilt-bronze acanthus. The corners of the commode are mounted with finely cast gilt-bronze mounts of female figures. The commode is raised on cabriole legs with gilt-bronze sabots.
