A fine George IV Toothpick Box made in Birmingham in 1828 by Ledsam, Vale & Wheeler.
The Toothpick Box is narrow rectangular in form and is engraved on the cover and base with basket weave designs.
The sides are decoarted with zig-zag designs and the cover displays a rectangular cartouche, with incuse sides, engraved with contemporary script initials.
The interior is fitted with a mirror and velvet lining.
