A fine George III mahogany library table or partners desk or Serpentine outline. The cross banded leather top above three frieze drawers to each side, one side having further drawers to the pedestals, the reverse having cupboard doors that enclose on one side shelves and on the other folio divisions.
All the draws and cupboards are cockbeaded in ebony, the drawers and the cupboards all lined with high quality cedar. The whole standing on plinth bases with concealed castors. This desk has the additional unusual feature of a secret compartment behind one of the drawers.
