A fine George III Hepplewhite Period Mahogany Serpentine Commode, circa 1780.
Of shallow serpentine form, the moulded top cross banded in tulipwood and inlaidwith a large semi circle with a narrow cross banding, over a serpentine shaped body with four graduaed drawers with cockbeaded edges and over a shaped apron and French style feet. The whole veneered in well figured mahogany of a wonderful goldedn colour.
