Trout fishing trophies are much more unusual than the more celebrated Salmon, which makes them harder to source. This is a finely carved and painted example of a Brown Trout and the fish has excellent carved details to the fins and is mounted on the original oak backboard and bears the historic inscription and date. The painted detailing of the scales and markings to the fish are in excellent condition and there is no evidence of any significant damage or restoration. A fine and rare example.Stock number
