A fine and handsome George III period mahogany chest on chest; the upper part with three short and three long drawers with blind-fret canted corners and with a similar lattice-pattern frieze and a key-pattern moulded cornice. The lower part with three drawers standing on bold ogee feet. All the drawers are oak lined and have their original fine brass open-plate handles and escutcheons.  Circa 1765
