A FINE 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CHEST. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1770.
Of excellent colour and patination, and lovely figured veneers. The quarter veneered moulded edge top over a serpentine front with canted corners & half serpentine sides; and over four graduated cock-beaded drawers over a moulded serpentine base, raised on carved bracket feet. Marvellous fire gilded highly decorative handles & escutcheons.
