A rare Flight Barr and Barr Worcester miniature porcelain basket, c. 1815. Painted in the manner of Dr Davis, with oval panels of exotic birds, in parkland, on a claret ground. Having gilt handles, above the simulated basket weave moulded body.
Painted factory mark, and address in puce to the base.
Height - 6.3 cm, 2 1/2”.
Length - 8.5 cm, 3 3/8”.
Condition - Minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition. No restoration.
