Fabulous Regency Period Mahogany Library Table, Circa 1815.
Attributable to James Newton ( 1773-1821 ) this outstanding freestanding centrepiece excels in all departments . Being constructed from Goncalo Alves and Ebony with adornments of finely chased mounts -and original gilt wood inverted scrolling . Having the original Carrara White Marble Top incorporating various inlays of Lapis Lazuli - Antico Rossi - Giallo Sienna - Cipollono - Mandolato Rosso - Brecciato - Bigo Antico - Inter Alia .
