A wonderful Georgian steel fender, the bow form fret with alternating elliptical bosses decorated with bright cut patterning set between two bands of cut steel studs, a central panel with a cut steel elliptical boss surrounded by an engraved design of ears of grain tied with a ribbon. The central panel and fret framed with a running bead; standing on four ball feet.
Fine condition. English circa 1790.
