A very rare set of twelve eighteenth century Georgian silver old English pattern dessert forks made in 1783 by George Smith of London. The forks are most unusual to be marked on the front and are of a little larger size than most dessert forks of the period and of superb quality. Clearly these were made as a special order.A very fine and unusual set of twelve by one of the premier flatware makers of the period.
