Antique Veramin carpets are recognised as exceptional workshop weavings for their quality crisp drawings and their variety of vegetable dyed colours. They are widely appreciated for their creative drawings in comparison to rugs from neighbouring regions.
An elegant Veramin carpet dating from the beginning of the 20th century. The drawing of this rug is surprisingly spacious in relation to its format, which is rare in this type of weaving. The harmonious colours are all natural vegetable-dyes, and have aged nicely. The clarity of its crisp drawing is explained by the quality of this rug being remarkably fine.
A charming example of its type, with a versatility to compliment a variety of settings.
