Rare and Exceptional Pair of Chinese Hardwood Sidechairs mirrowing their English Queen Anne period counterpart , with the added expression of the very individual stylised Asian intricate carving ,which in turn resembles the gilt gesso relief seen on English Tables ,Chairs ,and Mirrors of the same period .Of superb proportions and excellent original natural patination .

Note -one other set of eight chairs to be found at Hatfield House Hertfordshire built by Robert Cecil in 1611 the first Earl of Salisbury and son of Lord Burghley .
