Pottery.
The fine salt-glazed stoneware small dessert dish is very crisply press-moulded. The central roundel with diamond-shaped panels.
The border with basketweave and scroll designs in high and low relief alternating with diamond-shaped openwork gradating down in numbers towards the center. Eight scroll panels are found alternating with basket weave designs around the central panel.
Provenance: Applied label from DM & P Manheim, NY. (with price tag for $1,250.00)
Condition: Perfect with staining on portions of reverse, no repair.
