A delightful and very good quality late Regency period mahogany Occasional Lamp Table, having superbly figured oblong top.
With elegant gadrooned moulded edge raised on turned column terminating with quadform platform with unusual original turned feet.
This is a particularly fine quality and elegant Regency lamp table with almost every feature large, or small, being comfortably better than the norm in terms of quality, craftsmanship and design.
The top is superbly figured and retains excellent color and patina which is in no small part due to the excellent choice of timbers.
It also has a superbly carved gadrooned moulding to the edge which is an elegant feature plus another sign of quality.
The plateau base and turned feet are of the highest quality and superbly executed. Overall the condition is good with just various old marks, dents and scuffs.
All in all a fabulous little table that would work beautifully in an absolute plethora of locations around the home and that one would almost certainly never tire of admiring.
