An excellent quality 18th century Georgian mahogany Linen Press.

Having elegant fluted cornice over superbly figured pair of panelled doors, enclosing original cedar lined sliding trays above two short and two long drawers.

Retaining original brass swan neck handles raised on original shaped bracket feet.

This piece has great elegance for a large, functional and practical piece of furniture aided by the exceptional choice of timbers selected both inside and out.

The mahogany is highly figured and retains an excellent colour and patina whilst the original interior sliding trays still operate beautifully due to the cedar wood drawer lining.

It is of course extremely rare to find a Georgian Linen Press of any sort these days which retains it's original interior trays, let alone one of this calibre.

The item also retains it's original brass swan neck handles and original bracket feet. Clearly it has been well used, but also well loved throughout the years and is still absolutely fit for original purpose.

What a great way to add a touch of elegance, class and most importantly function to any room in the house.
