A Superb Quality Set Of Four 18th Century Mahogany
George II Period Side, Or Dining, Chairs Having Superbly
Figured Shaped Solid Splat Backs With Carved Decoration
Over Drop In Seats And Elegant Cabriole Legs United By
Turned H Stretchers
(A great example of 18th century mahogany Georgian side chairs
these chairs retain an excellent colour & patina with well figured and
attractively shaped splats. Their overall condition is excellent for an item
that is not far off 300 years old and they are certainly as fit for purpose
as the day they were made.
Perfect for use in a hallway, or bedroom, or even a couple of
them as extra dining chairs that can stand at the side of the room
and be pulled around a table as and when required they suit a variety
of different purposes around the home. The seats are removable
drop in seats meaning that if somebody wanted to re cover them in a
fabric of their choice this is both an easy and inexpensive task.)
