A very fine quality Regency period mahogany half Partners Desk.

Having gilt tooled leather inset top over 11 drawers to front and three false drawers plus two panelled cupboard doors to reverse.

Retaining original turned wooden knobs, raised on original plinth base.

This beautiful quality desk has a couple of unusual features. The first of these is the half partners design which basically means the reverse has functioning cupboard doors, but the drawers on the reverse are false.

The front also has 11 drawers instead of the far more common 9 drawers normally found in antique partners desks.

The extra drawer in each pedestal desk results in much shallower drawers than normal and therefore it is much easier to find things which you are looking for when routing around.

The dimensions are perfect for just about any home, or office, with the desk not being overpoweringly large but certainly large enough to be more than fit for purpose.

Circa 1830.

Height - 28.5in.
Width - 54in.
Depth - 34in.
