A delightful 18th century Oak Dresser Base of small proportion, having three drawers over two cupboard doors and elegant fielded panels raised on original bracket feet.

One of the most versatile pieces of furniture around dressers were made throughout the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

Many of them originally started life in two parts with a plate rack above the base, but not all, and now it is most common to find them without these racks as many have been discarded throughout the years.

They can be used in many different places around the home including kitchens, hallways, living rooms and dining rooms.

This example is a sweet small size and retains an excellent colour and patina.
